UFC 138 attendance figures and bonus awards; all-time live gate record set

“UFC 138: Leben vs. Munoz” event drew 10,823 attendees with a live gate of $1.5 million, UFC president Dana White announced at yesterday evening’s post-fight press conference.
The figure is a live-gate record for Birmingham, England’s LG Arena, the venue that hosted the event.
On the card, British fighters Che Mills and Terry Etim took home the “Knockout of the Night” and “Submission of the Night” honors respectively, whilst Renan Barao and Brad Pickett won “Fight of the Night”. All recipients walked away with $70,000 bonuses.
UFC 138’s main card aired in the U.S. via tape delay on Spike TV. Internationally, the main card aired live. Five preliminary contests streamed live on Facebook.com around the globe.
