Rampage got a whiff of Rashad’s breath

Just a few weeks ago at UFC 96 from the Nationwide Arena in Columbus, Ohio former Light Heavyweight champion Quinton “Rampage” Jackson regained another shot at the title when he scored a unanimous decision victory over Keith Jardine, but right after Rampage was announced the winner of the bout, Jardine’s teammate and current UFC Light Heavyweight champion Rashad Evans got right in his face to hype up their potential matchup in a trash talking affair. However just recently in an interview Rampage said that he was upset with Evans getting in his face like that and also added that his breath smelled as well.

In a sitdown with Triumph United Rampage talks about what he thought of the face to face confrontation and what he had smelled off the breath of Rashad Evans.

“You know what, it don’t matter. But you know I wanna get into that black on black crime. He come get in my face, trying to take my glory. For real though, his breath smelled like he lost a fight with a bull’s booty. He got all up in my face, and I was like, “Damn, smell like he been eating poop jerky.”

Unfortunately, Rampage will not be facing Evans at UFC 98 due to a hand injury he sustained in his win over Keith Jardine at UFC 96. Instead, Evans will now defend his title against Lyoto Machida, but should Evans beat Machida than Rampage will be his next opponent after that.
