Mike Swick, who started his UFC career way back at The Ultimate Fighter season 1, has been sidelined with injuries and recovering for the last 18 months.

Finally, “Quick” (14-4) will return to the Octagon at UFC 134 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil on August 27. Swick will be welcoming UFC newcomer Erick Silva to the organization.

Prior to Swick’s layoff he was on a two-fight losing skid, which makes it safe to assume this is a must-win fight for the TUF 1 participant.

Silva (12-1), a Team Nogueira fighter and Brazilian jiu-jitsu black-belt, is the former Jungle Fight welterweight champion and he is unbeaten in his nine previous bouts.
