The official weigh-in for WEC 53 competitors saw all 22 fighters make weight for each of their respective fights.

The weigh-in event took place at the Jobing.com Arena in Glendale, Arizona, which is the same venue WEC 53 is set to take place tomorrow night.

WEC 53 will be the final event is the history of the Zuffa LLC-owned WEC as the promotion is merging with the UFC, which is also owned by Zuffa, LLC. The show is scheduled to be co-headlined by WEC Lightweight Champion Ben Henderson vs. Anthony “Showtime” Pettis, along with WEC Bantamweight Champion Dominick Cruz vs. Scott Jorgensen. In an interesting note, after making his way up on the stage, Henderson voluntarily stripped and weighed in with a towel held in front of him. The Lightweight Champion must have known he was barely going to make the 155-pound limit for his title fight.

The winner of the Henderson vs. Pettis fight is scheduled to face the winner of the UFC Lightweight Title fight between champion Frankie Edgar and Gray Maynard which takes place on January 1, 2011 at UFC 125: Resolution. Cruz and Jorgensen will be fighting to be crowned the inaugural UFC Bantamweight Champion.
